Extra Chapter: No Need for Nervousness
“Click that one.”
_____ raised an eyebrow as she moved the cursor over the thumbnail of a video. “This one?”
Alfred nodded.
She sighed and clicked the thumbnail, and it began to play a video of a young Swedish man playing a horror game. He seemed to scream at every turn, and his character held a lantern in one hand and a small golden statue in the other. _____ had seen him before, and she found him quite amusing, but she wondered if Alfred could handle the jump scares. A figure suddenly appeared on the screen in front of the video game character, and the player made a loud

Chapter Thirty: See You Later
“_____. Wake up.”
_____’s eyes slowly fluttered open to the immediate sight of bright cerulean ones staring right back at her. She jumped back slightly, but relaxed when she realized that it was only Alfred. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. “What?” she mumbled sleepily.
“We’re at the airport.”
A small ache shot through _____’s chest, and she nodded. “Okay.” She reached to scratch her head when she noticed something there. She pulled the lion hat off her head and grinned. “This is yours,” she said as she placed the hat on her best

Chapter Twenty-Nine: Goodbye
_____ could clearly see her hands shaking as she placed the last article of clothing into her suitcase. She zipped up the suitcase, resting her hands on the top of it for a moment. She took a deep breath and attempted to calm herself. This was it. The day had finally come when she would leave this place. Her shoulders dropped and she looked upward.
“Please,” she whispered. “I don’t want to go. . .”
“_____.”
She jumped at the sound of her name and whirled around to see Alfred standing in the doorway. “Oh, hey, Alfie. . .”
Alfred wore a unshakably sulle

Chapter Twenty-Eight: Treasured
Ludwig opened his eyes to the morning sun shining through his bedroom window. He moaned quietly as he turned on his side, jumping back at the sight of a certain Italian in his bed with him. He shot up to a sitting position.
“What the hell are you doing in here?!” he shouted.
Feliciano opened his eyes sleepily and looked at the German. “Oh, ciao, Ludwig! Buongiorno!”
“Ja, ja,” he sighed. “Now what are you doing in here?”
Feliciano blinked, then began twiddling his index fingers. “Well, I. . .”
“Ja? Spit it out.”
The small Itali

Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Only Rose
“Alright, so what is this ‘special meal’ you’ve been talking about?” said _____ as she sat down at the dining table.
Francis smiled, placing a large covered platter on the table. “One moment, si’l vous plaît,” he replied. “When everyone is seated.”
She scanned the room; Yao was already sitting down, and Alfred was just taking a seat. Arthur grumpily walked into the kitchen and sat down, apparently still irritated about what happened that afternoon. But there was someone missing.
“Where’s Ivan?”
“Mm?” Francis

Chapter Twenty-Six: Wanted
A light cerulean blue colored the sky the next morning and brightened as _____ awoke, shining through the pastel curtains on the window in her room. She climbed out of bed, hurrying to get dressed when she realized it was almost noon. She scrambled out of her room, still buttoning up her pants, and headed downstairs to the kitchen. There she saw Francis at the stove making brunch and a certain Englishman tied down to one of the chairs at the dining table.
_____ raised an eyebrow, smirking. “Again? Really, Arthur?”
Arthur groaned in irritation, rolling his eyes for effect.
“Arthur.” He

Chapter Twenty-Five: Contemplation
_____ sighed as she flopped down onto her bed. It had been a long day, full of planting flowers and being at a loss for words, and she, quite frankly, was just ready to go to sleep. After going through her usual pre-bed cycle, she turned off the bedside lamp and lay down, pulling the bedsheets over her head. She tried to relax as the night passed, but after half an hour, she groaned and removed the covers from her head. She turned her head to look at the clock. 12:47 AM.
Damn, she thought. How long does it take a girl to go to sleep? She sighed and returned to her original position under the covers. She

Chapter Twenty-Four: Blume, Tsvetok, Hana, Fiore
“Love, why exactly are we here?” Arthur said as the six entered the flower shop.
_____ grinned. “To get flowers. Duh.”
He sighed loudly and walked off toward the carnations. Francis, Alfred, and Yao went off to the section with various roses, and _____ and Ivan went to the back of the store where the larger flowers were. There they found shelves of ferns and hanging flowers and, most important, sunflowers. Beside each group of flowers were buckets of that flowers’ seeds in individual packages. The two observed the four potted sunflowers on the shelf.

“Hmmm. . .”
Feliks groaned. “Come on, _____! You, like, totally need to pick something out already!”
“I’m thinking,” said _____, carefully scanning the shelves near her. “I just can’t really think of something he’d want.”
“Well, I might be able to help,” said Toris. “I’ve had to spend a lot of time with Alfred, and although he would never admit it, he likes sentimental things.”
“Oh, he does, does he?” She smirked, which slowly turned into a soft smile as she thought back on her childhood.
