"Ugh," groaned Gilbert as he downed the rest of his drink. "I'm so bored!"
"Well, this is your party, mon ami," chided his best friend Francis. "We should do something entertaining."
"Oh! I know!" said Gilbert's other best friend, Antonio. "Let's play Hide-and-Seek!"
"Good idea!" Gilbert climbed onto a tabletop. "Everybody! I've got a cure for all of your boredom! We'll play Hide-and-Seek!"
_____, hearing her friend's announcement, put down her drink and smiled. "That sounds like fun!"
"Seriously?" said her boyfriend, Ludwig, with a raised eyebrow. "Games are for kleine Kinder."
"C'mon, Luddy!" _____ took his hand, making him blush. "We all need to take time to play. Loosen up!"
Ludwig sighed. He could never say no to her. "Alright, schatz. I'll play one game."
_____ pumped her fist in the air. "Yes! Hey, Gil! Luddy and I'll play!"
"Awesome! Alright, peeps! You go hide! Toni, Francis, and I'll be it! Go!" And with that, the Bad Touch Trio turned around, covered their eyes, and began counting.
_____ grabbed Ludwig's hand and pulled him along as she ran through the hallway of the large house. They noticed Feliciano, Alfred, and various others running into different rooms and looking for a hiding spot in false desperation.
Reaching the end of the hallway, Ludwig took charge by tugging _____ into the back room with him. _____ panted as she looked for a good place to hide. Turning her head, she spotted a large footlocker near the back of the room.
"Luddy, over there!" she said, tugging her boyfriend's sleeve and pointing to the footlocker.
Ludwig looked at her skeptically. "Are you sure about that, schatz? Will we both fit in there?"
_____ made a smirk that rivaled Gilbert's. "Oh, we'll fit, alright~."
A shade of pink dusted Ludwig's cheeks as he nodded slowly and stepped over to the footlocker. He opened the lid and stepped inside, laying flat on his back. "Alright, schatz. Climb in."
_____ smiled and climbed in after him and closed the lid carefully. She twisted herself so that she was laying on her stomach on top of Ludwig. There was very little light, but _____ could see the growing blush on Ludwig's face. She smiled. "So, how long do you think it'll take for them to find us?"
"O-Oh. . . Not long, I think. . . Gilbert is good at finding things that he's not supposed to. . ."
Hearing this, _____ burst out laughing, her body shaking over Ludwig's. Her laughter was unintentionally louder than she or Ludwig expected, and she quickly hushed herself. "Sorry," she said under her breath. "That was just really funny. . ."
They spent the next twenty minutes in silence, waiting for one--or all--of the Bad Touch Trio to find them. No one came, and the two were getting uncomfortable in the cramped footlocker.
Ludwig sighed. "Alright. I don't think any of them are coming. They probably started another game by now."
_____ nodded. "Okay. I guess I'll get out now." She placed her hands on the floor of the footlocker on each side of her boyfriend's head, pushing her body upward. She pressed her back to the lid and attempted to push the lid up, but the lid stayed attached to the footlocker. She tried again, but it wouldn't budge.
"Uh-oh," she mumbled.
"What's wrong?" asked Ludwig.
"I-I think it's stuck. . ."
Ludwig's eyes widened a bit. "Are you sure. . . ?"
"Y-Yeah. . ."
". . .Let me try." He raised his arms up and pushed the lid, taking his turn to try to open it. He gave it a few good tries until he dropped his arms back down with an exasperated sigh. "Scheiße. . . We are stuck in here. . ."
"Um. . . Ludwig. . .?" said _____.
"Ja?"
"Your hands are on my butt. . ."
Not even a second after she said that, Ludwig's hands recoiled back and rested now on her shoulder blades. "Entschuldigung. . ."
"It's okay. . ." _____ peered through the darkness into her boyfriend's light blue eyes. She had always loved his eyes; they were a gorgeous hue bluer than the sky itself, and she would go weak in the knees whenever she looked into them. "Ludwig. . ."
"What is it, scha--"
Ludwig was cut off by _____'s lips colliding with his. He froze, but soon reciprocated her action, cupping her cheek in one hand. _____ had been Ludwig's first girlfriend, and the first girl he had ever kissed. He would always worry if he was correct in his actions, whatever it may have been, and _____ would always smile and assure him that he was doing fine (he was the first person she had had a relationship with as well).
Regrettibly, the two parted, panting slightly. Ludwig took _____'s face in his hands, gingerly stroking her cheek with his thumb. "Ich liebe dich, _____." He pulled her head down gently, her forehead resting on his. He closed his eyes, feeling her breath against his lips. "Ich liebe dich so sehr. Ich liebe dich. Ich liebe--"
"I know," _____ whispered. "I love you, too."
Ludwig smiled sadly, his brows furrowed and his eyes still closed. "I wish I could tell you just how much I love you. If only I could put it into words. . ."
_____ kissed her sweetheart, pouring all of her love for him into it. He returned the kiss, hoping he was able to let her know just how he felt about her.
"Oh, it's not use, guys. I don't think they'll get any."
"Sí. This is taking too long, anyway."
"Oui. I agree."
Ludwig and _____ pulled away as they listened to the voices outside the footlocker. Suddenly, the lid was lifted open to reveal the Bad Touch Trio staring down at the pair.
"Ja," sighed Gilbert. "Mein bruder isn't gonna get some for a while. I can tell."
Ludwig and _____ blushed furiously, clumsily scrambling out of the footlocker. "How in the world did you unlock that footlocker? Did you have a key?"
Gilbert tilted his head. "What key? We were sitting on top of the footlocker the whole time."
"WAS?!"
"WHAT?!"
Gilbert smirked. "Ja. We were waiting for some action, but you guys are so dense it would've taken forever."
Ludwig's and _____'s blushes darkened. The trio laughed and darted out the door.
"You guys are sick!" _____ shouted after them. "Sick, I tell you! Sick!"
Gilbert laughed loudly. "Ja, we are!"
"Well, this is your party, mon ami," chided his best friend Francis. "We should do something entertaining."

Germany Xreader Chapter 19
You were becoming impatient with Ludwig. Any time you asked about your father or the American troops he gave you some half-assed answer on why you couldn’t go. Frustrated with him you kept your distance and only tended to the German women who you commanded. “Berlin!” One woman shouted as she raced to you, stopping before you to stand at attention and salute.
“Ja? What is it?” You asked sternly.
“A phone call. For you.”
“At ease. Danke.” You said making your way to the communication tent. You picked up the bulk military field phone. “Hallo?”
