“What are you doing, Ludwig?”
Ludwig stopped midstride and cocked his head to look at his Italian friend. “Have you seen _____? She’s not in her room.”
Feliciano blinked. “I thought she was with you.” He stood from his seat on the couch. “I’ll help you look for her.”
Ludwig nodded. “Danke.”
A crack of thunder boomed in the distance, causing Feliciano to flinch.
Ludwig sighed at his friend, turning to glance down the adjacent hallway. “Feliciano, perhaps it’s best that you stay here—”
“Sorella!”
Ludwig looked back to see Feliciano now standing next to a window. The Italian pulled the blinds up and pointed outside. “Sorella’s outside!”
“Was?!” Ludwig rushed to the window, quickly spotting _____ out in the front yard. “What is she doing?” he growled. He immediately left his place by the window and ran out the front door.
Once outside, he saw _____ standing completely still with her head tilted upward. She opened her mouth slightly every now and again, the heavy raindrops falling down her face.
“_____!”
_____ lowered her head and looked in the direction of the voice. She smiled. “Oh, hi, Ludwig.”
“What on earth are you doing?!” he shouted at her.
She lifted her head again and beamed at the water pelting her face. “Feeling the rain.”
“Are you insane?!” he snapped. “You could have gotten struck by lightning!”
_____ ignored the German’s incessant reprimanding, staring blankly at the raindrops falling into a nearby puddle. She suddenly felt Ludwig grab hold of her wrist and pull her toward the house.
They reached the porch, which was covered from the rain, and Feliciano burst through the door with a towel in his hands. “Sorella, are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine,” she said, glaring a bit at Ludwig. Feliciano wrapped the towel around _____’s shoulders, and she thanked him before he went back inside at the sound of another crack of thunder.
Ludwig crossed his arms and sighed gruffly. “_____, why were you out here in the middle of a thunderstorm?”
_____ smiled and shrugged. “I already told you. I was feeling the rain.”
“Und what is that supposed to mean?” the German huffed.
_____ was silent. She turned to face the yard, sticking her hand out so that the raindrops fell on her palm. “Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.”
It was now Ludwig’s turn to be silent. He stared at _____’s figure, his brows furrowing in confusion. “I don’t. . .I don’t understand.”
_____ lowered her arm back down to her side and looked back at him. “Some people don’t,” she replied calmly before going inside.
Ludwig stood transfixed on the porch for a long time. Feel the rain? he thought. What does she mean by that?
He looked back out at the rain pouring onto the yard. Very slowly, he lifted his arm, reaching out from under the cover of the porch. The raindrops landed delicately on his hand, forming a small puddle in his palm. He sighed softly, hoping that one day he would be able to feel the rain like _____.

Denmark x Reader - Just Another Day
It was just a regular Saturday night for you. You were knelt next to a wriggling man, your sharp knee digging into a man’s back. You reached towards your belt, commanding that he lay still. Your fingers met a familiar metal texture in your belt. You grabbed the cuffs and roughly clipped them around the bawling man’s wrists, a content smile swiping across your lips.
The man screamed and cursed below you, but you silenced him with a knee in his side.
“Good job, Rookie,” your partner chimed above you. You gave him a sideways smirk, stepping off the cuffed suspect and harshly grabbed his shoulders, your Danish partner cop

GermanyxReader: Rain
You are sitting in a living room, tears rolling down your eyes. Your close friend Gilbert is holding you close to him and rubbing your back.
"I warned you. He's always been a jerk," He said, trying to comfort you.
"B-but," You protest,"He said he loved me." You let yourself cry out again.
Gilbert sighed and pulled you closer,"Antonio has always been prone to this. He's cheated on his girlfriends before."
You don't have an ounce of energy to say anymore. You just cry out, grabbing onto Gilbert's shirt.
Antonio was the first guy you ever dated and when your back was turned, he went to make out with another girl. You knew Gilber

The Best Story Of My Life ~Fluff~
(Germany x Reader)
Rain drops pounded against the window pane making a rhythmic gentle tapping sound. An occasional flash of light would illuminate the dark room followed by a crash of thunder, causing you to jump each time. Opening your tired eyes, you watched a quick white light shoot through the room and you braced for the thunder. A loud clap of thunder finally came and you jumped... again.
Sighing, you rolled over in your tangled bed sheets and sat up. Yellow light crept in from under your closed bedroom door and you smiled softly. It was most definitely Ludwig, probably reading another book. It was a

It was raining a little while ago, and I just decided to step outside and just feel the rain on my skin.
